![]() Maybe the passengers finally found an agent familiar with reissuing the existing ticket, but I have my doubts. It is one coupon for REP PKZ VTE so long as you continue straight through. The PG agent at REP suggested to buy another ticket (?). So they had to be rebooked on a later BKK USM flight – for which there was no ticket / coupon. And since the BKK USM flight is on another aircraft anyway, the passengers were going to miss that segment. I’ve overheard a conversation at REP last year. It’s not as easy with the REP BKK USM flight. It’s the same plane doing both legs, just a quick (flag) stop in PKZ. I can confirm that the VTE PKZ REP flight (or LPQ PKZ REP in our case) requires just one coupon. As described in post #2, the additional agency fees almost killed the deal. The PG office in Germany has refused to ticket our Discovery Airpasses two years ago, directing me to Royal Orchid, a TG associated travel agency in Europe. I attempted to fix it but it didn't hold. On the other hand, what you write above is likely the cheapest way to get to REP. PG doesn't allow much for their own members. This is for segments you might purchase outside of the Airpass.ĥk JAL miles for two PG flights totaling <1000 miles,You're unlikely to find much if any availability to USM. NB: While you'll pay a premium for o/w international segments, they are priced into a higher fare class, you don't have that kind of penalty for domestic flights because they are priced as o/w to begin with. One thing I have noticed is L seems to be filed more for flights exUSM so you could do something like this:īKK-REP-BKK/ USM-BKK and purchase the CNX-BKK and BKK-USM separately. ![]() You're allowed a max of 6 segments and an open jaw. If you're planing on flying CNX-BKK-REP-BKK that will take care of the minimum. There's a problem with your planning: CNX-REP is 2 segments. That's a bummer, as booking the segments individually for CNX to REP, and REP to USM, and USM to BKK is very expensive, and that's where I'd hoped to make use of 3 Airpass segments.īut I'm holding onto hope - anyone know if there's a way to check L class availability myself (without an expertflyer subscription)? Or will I need to call/email PG and go through all the possible dates and combinations with an agent? (I had read that the call center isn't so good and call is international, so was hoping to keep that type of interaction to a minimum, hence my posts here Give me your dates and I'll search on KVS. I'd carefully compared the segment costs and read the T&C, but didn't realize L class availability would be so limited, and was hoping this would all be doable months out. Thanks so much for your helpful response, dsquared37! ![]()
